This seems to be the theme of my life. If I’ve learned anything from these past 6 months upon graduating, it’s that after college, the world is opened up. There’s no longer the set path that seemed so clear when you’re going through school. Everyone is doing their own thing and it’s possible to succeed in so many ways. And sometimes, it seems like everyone around you is doing something right, and you’re just still stuck in this ditch, confused as ever. But you really have to remind yourself to stay grounded. Remind yourself of who you are and what YOU want to accomplish. Because if you spend too much time thinking about what other’s are doing and what you’re not doing to measure up to them, you’re wasting valuable to time that could be spent on paving your own road. Love your own grass.
