A list of the many privileges and blessings I am thankful for—
- a mom who nags because she cares
- a dad who seems to have an endless stream of advice… even when he’s talking in circles
- a brat of a brother, but also babysitter, personal chef, and stand-in parent
- jenny lin, the best friend & closet weirdo a girl can ever ask for
- a sweeet adorable boyfriend who never seems to run out of kisses for me!
- my friends: the crazy ones, the supportive ones, the loud ones, the quiet ones, the wise ones, the dumb ones, and all the other perfect ones that fall neatly in between those categories
- main stacks, a measssly dance team that has somehow amazingly morphed into my stand-in family/ home away from home/ my home.
- a family that’s 70% annoying but 210% eternally loving & loving me
- an education. the opportunity to have received a college degree.
- my health: i can breathe freely, dance entirely, walk, talk, hug, kiss, blink, laugh, cry, live.
- a home to call home.
- a bed to lay in.
- a fridge full of food.
- a pantry full of beer.
- fresh, clean water.
- that I have lived for 22 years and i get to spend yet another thanksgiving surrounded by those who love me unconditionally.
